Using DayTrip

DayTrip helps you discover places, save and plan days out, create trip memories, connect with friends and use Group Days. You must use the service lawfully and responsibly and must not interfere with, abuse or attempt to compromise DayTrip or other users.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account and login methods secure and for information you add to your account. Please keep your email address and profile information accurate. We may restrict or disable access where necessary to protect the service, users or comply with law.

Location, listings and recommendations

DayTrip uses available place, mapping and location information to help you plan days out. Listings, opening hours, prices, accessibility, routes, travel times and other venue details can change. You should check important details with the venue or relevant provider before travelling.

DayTrip suggestions are for planning and discovery. They are not a guarantee that a venue will be open, suitable, safe, available or meet your individual needs.

Social features and user content

You retain responsibility for photos, comments, trip stories, profile information and other content you upload. You must have the right to share that content and must not upload unlawful, abusive, misleading or privacy-infringing material.

When you choose to share a trip or Group Day, the people you share it with may be able to see the associated information according to the feature’s sharing settings.

Subscriptions and payments

Paid traveller subscriptions, merchant services and sponsorship products are subject to the price and billing terms shown at purchase. Payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider. Recurring subscriptions continue until cancelled in accordance with the cancellation options shown for that product.

Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Businesses and sponsored placements

Business listings, offers and sponsored placements may be supplied by merchants or other third parties. A sponsored placement does not mean DayTrip guarantees or endorses every aspect of that business. Merchants are responsible for their own offers, services, pricing and customer obligations.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep DayTrip available and useful but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may improve, replace, add or remove features, and may carry out maintenance or changes needed for security, performance or legal reasons.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DayTrip is not responsible for losses caused by third-party venues, inaccurate third-party information, changes to opening times or services, travel disruption, or events outside our reasonable control. We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Ending your account

You can stop using DayTrip at any time. For information about requesting account and personal data deletion, visit our Data Deletion page.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The latest version will be published at this URL with the date of the latest update.
